Yesterday I wrote about Antivirus XP Pro. Well meet it’s clone, Antivirus XP Pro 2009.
I don’t know about you but that inclusion of a year in the name really wants me go out and buy this fake antivirus software.
Once it is on your computer, Antivirus XP Pro 2009 will make your life miserable by bombarding you with fake security alerts to trick you into buying the “full” version of Antivirus XP Pro 2009.
You probably got Antivirus XP Pro 2009 from a Trojan disguised as legitimate file that you downloaded; luckily you should be able to remove Antivirus XP Pro 2009 with these instructions. Because Antivirus XP is quite a bad infection, I’d recommend you use Spyware Doctor to remove it instead.
