VSCodec PRO
Posted May 27, 2009
VSCodec PRO is a fake media video codec that is currently circulating around porn sites so try not to infect yourself with this at work.
VSCodec PRO will generate errors saying that you need a Codec to view a certain media file or will say that your computer is incapable of opening media files unless you buy VSCodec PRO. This is to try to get you to waste money on this worthless program.
On the bright side, PC Codec Pack’s website is entertaining, I love their user comment for this program which on the the main page.
Just super! Older come was on a half-day tune codecs, and now only two minuty and lose all the films are. A quality - generally superior. I do not think that this can be increase it. Thanks for the cool program.

MXH AntiSpyware
Posted March 6, 2009
MXH AntiSpyware is yet another fake antispyware program that wants to scam you out of your money with a badly named program.
Seriously, what does MXH stand for? The only thing I could find is “MERRILL FACTOR MODEL” and what does that have to do with the scam?
Equally as baffling is the countless fake alerts for threats that aren’t even on your computer MXH AntiSpyware generates to try and trick you into buying the “full” version. Maybe if you buy it they will tell you what MXH stands for. I’m tempted.
Unfortunately their aren’t any instructions to manually remove MXH AntiSpyware yet. Your best bet is to find and delete any folder named “MXH AntiSpyware” however that wont completely remove the infection. For now, only running a program like Spyware Doctor will completely remove MXH AntiSpyware and the Trojan that gave it to you.
ANG Antivirus 09

ANG AntiVirus 09 is another fake antivirus program with a confusing name that wants to trick you out of your money.
I believe the ANG in ANG Antivirus 09 stands for “Antivirus No Good” as the only thing you see are countless fake alerts for threats that aren’t even on your computer to try and trick you into buying the “full” version of ANG Antivirus 09.
You can manually remove ANG Antivirus 09 with the ANG Antivirus 09 removal instructions. or you can have Spyware Doctor completely remove ANG Antivirus 09 from your computer.

WinCleaner 2009 is another dull fake antivirus program that wants to con you out of your hard earned money.
WinCleaner 2009 doesn’t clean any thing although it will dirty your monitor with fake alerts for threats that aren’t even on your computer to try and trick you into buying the “full” version of WinCleaner 2009. The Trojan WinCleaner 2009 most likely came on will install enough malicious programs to make your hard drive look like a College Students flat.
You can remove WinCleaner 2009 using the WinCleaner 2009 manual removal instructions. If WinCleaner 2009 makes following these instructions difficult, use Spyware Doctor to remove WinCleaner 2009 from your computer.
Badware Protector
Posted February 12, 2009
Having exhausted all possible uses of the words “Antivirus”, “Spyware” and “Malware”, scammer’s are now using “Badware” in their fake secuirty program titles, starting with Badware Protector.
Just a reminder that today’s magic word is “bad” so scream whenever you read that word today.
I’m not sure what Badware Protector defines as Badware, as all I see it doing is constantly generating fake alerts for threats that aren’t even on my computer to try and trick me into buying the full version.
Perhaps my desktop is badware and Badware Protector is trying to protect me from that.
You can remove Badware Protector using the Badware Protector manual removal instructions. Because Badware Protector was most likely put on your computer by a bad Trojan, I recommend running a free scan of Spyware Doctor to see what it finds any thing bad on your computer.
