The Effect of Having Multiple Fake Antivirus on your Computer

Posted October 13, 2008

This is a very interesting video from someone who deliberately installed the Trojan Vundu on his computer. This video is exaggerated as he has a couple of fake antivirus setup files on his desktop before he even runs the Trojan, however it does highlight how all fake antivirus software use the same tricks to get you to buy them and how annoying they can get if left unchecked.

Heres the Trojan Vundu removal instructions.

Your video reminded me of very some very badly infected computers that come into where I where I work. It’s good you used Virtual machine, on machines as badly infected as that, I mostly do a format and reinstall the operating as it’s quicker than than trying to repair all the damage that’s been done.
